As we spend time looking for shapes and colours I am reminded of the Camino de Santiago. There we spent a lot of time looking for yellow arrows. Being the observer. Looking for signs. That’s not very different from what we do in the Master Key Experience.
And guess what? Those yellow arrows show us the Way on the Camino, what direction to go. It is important to keep going in the right direction, isn’t it? Sure, you can take a detour to see something special, or enjoy a unique experience. But that shouldn’t lead you so far off the path that you get lost or lose the desire to complete your journey.
Sign, sign, everywhere a sign. Five Man Electrical Band
Signs along the Camino can be simple yellow arrows spray-painted onto a fence, or a pile of rocks in the shape of an arrow, or a statue (always facing toward Santiago), or an actual sign. Most cities along the Way have tiles on the street that indicate you are on the right path.
And some signs have been altered by clever pilgrims. One sign said “When you feel like quitting, you’re probably making progress.” How many times in the MKE do you feel like quitting? Because it’s hard, or uncomfortable, or too much of commitment, or just because fear keeps us living with our old blueprint?
During my first year with the Master Key Experience, I went for a walk in my neighbourhood and was amazed at all the blue rectangles, red circles, green triangles and yellow squares that I found. You can read that blog post HERE, but I have re-used the graphic I made for that post.
One observation I made at that time: “It is not a stretch to think that, if I can now see shapes and colours that were always there and I never noticed; that soon I am seeing opportunities that were always there but I just never noticed!”
So keep looking for signs – and when you attach your PPNs to the signs, you will see Success everywhere!
What a great metaphor for the shapes and colors. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Joseph, I appreciate the comment:)
