When we first got the assignment to look for shapes and colours (Canadian spelling), I wasn’t sure how it would go.
- Blue rectangles – no problem, lots of signs have blue rectangles, and boxes, and books – even porta-potties! Or the blue sky framed by a window or camera lens!
- Red circles – at first I thought, that is only stop-lights, right? Well, once I started looked, it turns out that there are lots of signs with red circles, and any sign with a letter “O” in red, or on a red background has a red circle!
- Green triangles – this started out more challenging, I saw a paint store sign with triangles, then a realtor sign, then I got creative. Where I live the street signs are green, so any A (as in AVE or WAY) or number 4 has a little green triangle! Then Mark mentioned trees, there are plenty of those!
- Yellow squares – again, I had doubts. But that paint store sign is on a yellow square. Then I saw all the traffic signs that are yellow diamonds – a square on it’s corner! And while walking I saw so many little yellow flags marking something underground I guess.
The photos here were taken yesterday on a walk (I was so grateful for the gorgeous fall day). As you can see, there is a plethora of shapes and colours!
It is not a stretch to think that, if I can now see shapes and colours that were always there and I never noticed; that soon I will be am seeing opportunities that were always there but I just never noticed!
I did OATS for the first time this week, and yesterday as I was doing my designated “power hour” (because I always keep my promises), I had someone call me back to set up an appointment for today, and someone who wasn’t even on my list called me to chat about my services!
I am now feeling a low level “buzz” almost all day long, not just during my morning sit; at which time it is sometimes almost overwhelming, centered in my solar plexus – like the sun is about to burst out of me (my intention of letting my light shine is so appropriate). The rest of the day it feels a bit like a caffeine or sugar overdose, but I choose to believe that it is just the increased vibrational frequency of my thoughts and emotions. And it is glorious!
It’s all about shifting – your perspective, your attitude, your habits, your FEELINGS!
